Six Parts of Talbiyah

1. Labbayka Allahumma labbayk (Here I am, O Allah! Here I am)

‘Here I am’ is to rejoice the lasting response of the call of Allah and ‘Labbayk’ is the repetition of submission to Allah for His service. Therefore, the repeated statement expresses your love and respect for Allah.

2. Labbayka la shareeka laka labbayk (Here I am, You have no partner, here I am)

This part is especially to refrain from ‘Shirk’, a crime that Allah can never forgive. It explains the intention of pleasing to Allah only as there is no other partner than Him.

3. Innal-hamda (Verily all praise and thanks belong to You)

‘Hamd’ means to pray and give Thanks. Allah has more than 99 names in His praise and each time you praise Him, the lists never ends and it continues. For e.g: Ar-Rahman, Ar-Raheem etc.

4. Wan-ni`mata (Verily, all blessings belong to You)

Furthermore, you say thanks to Allah that he has given you the wonderful opportunity to perform Hajj and to purify your sins and keep you healthy in whole travel and stay. You can figure all His blessings like your body parts, your shelter, parents and in the first place for being born in the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad.

5. Laka wal-mulk (Verily, all sovereignty belongs to You)

Not only you have the blessings but power, the kingdom, the sovereignty, the dominion all belong to You alone. Show Allah the only He has the absolute control over everything.

6. La shareeka lak (You have no partner)

Count no partner in praise to Allah and only be His slave. Love only Him the most and keep reflecting on all of the above meaning of Talbiyah to raise your voice in these six parts.
