The Afterlife -Are you prepared

Afterlife, Death is not IF it is WHEN. Everything that starts has an end. So does this life. We came from dirt and we will go back to dirt. So what will happen after death?

Islam gives the most realistic details of what approaches after death and lies ahead of. This religion seems demise to be a natural threshold to the subsequent stage of existence.

Afterlife as believed by Muslims

In the earlier revelations of the Quran, one of the themes highlighted more than any other is the concept of afterlife such as the Day of Judgment, Paradise, Hellfire, the Reckoning, the world coming to an end and humans being raised again for another life after this one.

Muslims deem that, after dying, a person go through a transitional period of life amongst death and resurrection that is the grave. The grave is a mesmerizing garden of heaven or a trench made of hellfire; angels of benevolence visit the souls of believers and angels of chastisement arrive for unbelievers.

The Day of Judgment

The Almighty will judge his creation. The faithful will recognize their flaws and be pardoned. The unbeliever is remunerated for his good deeds in this life so he will have no deeds to proclaim.

A bridge will be set up over Hell, reaching out to Paradise called ‘Siraat’. The ones who remain unfaltering on Allah’s religion in this life will easily pass it.

Paradise

Perpetual garden of physical joys and profound enjoyments where substantial desires will be fulfilled adorned with wealth, a torrent of vines, lovely aromas, pure accomplices for intimacy; a person will never get exhausted or have enough.

The best ecstasy, however, will be the vision of their Lord of which the unbelievers will be denied.

Hell

Fiendish place of retribution for disbelievers and purification for sinful believers is the Hell where body and soul will face torment by smoldering in fire pits. Steaming water and burning sustenance to have. An unbeliever will unceasingly condemn to it while believers will be displaced to Paradise ultimately.

Conclusion

We all are marching towards mortality. Days are being taken away from our lives that we will never get back. In Surah Al-Asar, Allah swears by the time that is squeezing away from us and is dripping away so quickly that we cannot catch it. This Surah, the summary of the entire Quran provides us the message to have respect for time. Good company is essential to keep faith and value of time alive. May Allah help us keep faithful friends and value the time we have in this life. Ameen
